.Tz Domain, Professional Email And Digital Stamp After Setup

What launch extras sit on Fast Track besides faster desk work? Fast Track Business Setup (USD 1,500) is the Standard core route on a priority desk, plus professional coordination of a.tz domain, professional email and a digital stamp where applicable. Domain registry, mailbox vendor and stamp-vendor charges are third-party. The 7-working-day target is for the core Standard route after complete documents, subject to authority processing, not a guaranteed live mailbox on day seven.
A .tz domain, professional email and digital stamp sit after the company exists. They are coordination extras on Fast Track, not a BRELA filing and not a registry contract. As of 22 August 2026. Confirm the live tzNIC and receiving-bank rules before you print letterhead.
Investors often treat “company registered” as “we can email clients from a .tz address.” Those are different vendors. Fast Track sequences them; it does not buy the domain out of the professional fee. Zatra professional fees are published on pricing (Standard Business Setup USD 999; Fast Track Business Setup USD 1,500; Executive Investor & Regulated Setup from USD 2,500. Multi-Agency Mandates Desk from USD 12,500. Advisory: Senior Advisory Session USD 49; Market-Entry Assessment from USD 199; Onsite Supplier or Asset Verification from USD 499; Custom Mandates scoped after assessment). BRELA, TRA, licence, bank, notary and sector-permit charges are third-party and billed separately.
What this page decides
This page decides which launch extras are Fast Track professional scope. It is not a hosting brochure.
| Extra | What Zatra coordinates | What you still pay separately |
|---|---|---|
| .tz domain | Registrar application against the company name file | Registry / registrar invoice |
| Professional email | Mailbox vendor setup against that domain | Mailbox subscription |
| Digital stamp | Vendor file using the registered name | Stamp-vendor fee |
Typical sequence
- Finish name and formation facts: A domain filed against a rejected name is wasted money.
- Apply for the domain: Against live registrar rules.
- Stand up DNS and mailboxes: After the domain is actually delegated.
- Issue the digital stamp file: Matching the registered spelling, not the trading nickname.
- Keep the credentials with the company: Not with a personal Gmail that leaves with a contractor.
What this process does not include
- Website design or SEO retainers as a published Fast Track extra
- TRA electronic fiscal devices
- A guaranteed go-live date for mail
Compare routes on Fast Track vs Standard. NSSF/WCF/OSHA and TBS/TMDA professional support also sit on Fast Track where applicable, still professional support, still separate official charges.
Competent institutions (verify live)
.tz domains sit with the Tanzania country-code registry under TCRA rules, not with BRELA. BRELA records the company name; the registrar records the domain. Mailbox vendors are private. TRA electronic fiscal devices are a different instrument. Confirm invoicing rules on the TRA portal, not on a domain invoice.
| Institution / vendor | What it actually controls | What it does not replace |
|---|---|---|
| TCRA / .tz registry | Country-code domain eligibility and delegation | Company existence or a mailbox |
| BRELA | The registered spelling you should copy onto the domain | DNS or email |
| Mailbox / stamp vendor | Accounts and the stamp file | A TRA e-fiscal device |
Name collisions
File the domain against the name BRELA actually reserved or registered. A trading style, acronym or English nickname that is not on the extract is how you pay twice. If ORS still has the name in query, wait. Fast Track coordinates the sequence; it does not override the registry queue.
Mainland vs Zanzibar
A .tz domain is a national ccTLD question. It does not register a Zanzibar company. If the operating entity is Zanzibari, map BPRA first and then decide which legal name the domain should copy.
Verify before you pay a registrar
Confirm live .tz rules on the TCRA / registry side and keep credentials in the company’s control, not a contractor’s personal inbox. Professional coordination is listed on Fast Track (USD 1,500) and therefore on Executive; registry, DNS, mailbox and stamp-vendor invoices stay in Column B. See professional versus government fees.
Frequently asked questions
Is a .tz domain in Standard (USD 999)?
No. Domain, professional email and digital-stamp coordination sit on Fast Track (USD 1,500) and therefore also on Executive professional scope. Standard is the core registration route without those launch extras.
Do you pay the registry out of USD 1,500?
No. Registry, DNS, mailbox and stamp-vendor invoices are third-party. Zatra’s fee is professional coordination.
Is the mailbox guaranteed in seven working days?
No. The 7-working-day target is for the core Standard registration route after complete documents, subject to BRELA and TRA processing. Mailbox vendors and registries have their own queues.
Can I bring my own domain?
Yes. Say so at intake. Coordination then points at your registrar rather than a new .tz application.
Is a digital stamp a TRA e-fiscal device?
No. A company digital stamp for correspondence is not automatically an electronic fiscal device. Confirm TRA rules for invoicing separately.
Does Fast Track include BAKITA as well?
BAKITA coordination is also a Fast Track extra where applicable. Translator fees stay separate.
