Licence the product before you pay a deposit
Cashew, coffee, seed, fertiliser, medicines, standards-marked goods and minerals each sit on a different card. The Tanzania Trade Portal publishes procedure maps. TBS handles many product standards. TMDA handles medicines and medical devices. Mining counterparties still need a licence map on mining, not a WhatsApp brokerage. Confirm the live card before you wire a supplier.

Mainland vs Zanzibar
import-export licensing support and phytosanitary rules can differ when goods move through Zanzibar. Do not copy a mainland Trade Portal card onto a Zanzibar shipment without checking the competent desk.
